Seattle fine art Ribbon of Light sculptureSeattle is a city with a large diversity of people and landscapes, and yet, a great pride of the city is its ability to make access to public art available for all. The Seattle fine art and public art scene is supported by hundreds of passionate artists and art professionals.

The expert team at Art Work Fine Art Services have decades of experience in fine art logistics, with an active presence in Seattle’s public and outdoor installation space.

Seattle has a robust public and outdoor art culture due to its many initiatives aimed at highlighting diverse voices and promoting social justice. Seattle was one of the first US cities to implement a percent-for-art-ordinance, which specifies that “1% of eligible city capital improvement project funds be set aside for the commission, purchase and installation of artworks in a variety of settings.”

The abundance of public art has a positive impact on Seattle residents, and the expert team at Art Work Fine Art Services is passionate about supporting these initiatives through quality installation and storage services.

How Art Work Fine Art Services Supports Seattle Fine Art

The work we do is enriched by the passion of artists across Seattle. As a team, we have had the opportunity to work with art professionals throughout the state of Washington and Oregon. We are deeply entrenched in the community and trusted by many of the most prestigious art communities in Washington state cities, including Seattle, Spokane, Tacoma, Vancouver, and more.

One of our favorite outdoor installation projects in Seattle we had the pleasure to work on is Ribbon of Light, by artist, Horatio Hung-Yan Law. This piece was created as a dedication to the remembrance of and response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

The sculptures, titled “Monolith,” “Reverie” and “Lambda,” which are installed along a landscaped pathway in Cal Anderson Park in Seattle, Washington, present unique shapes, representing different meanings, including the shifting nature of grief.

Let our team of experts partner with you to bring your public art to Seattle residents.
