State-of-the-Art Facilities
Our art storage facilities provide a safe, controlled environment for both long and short-term storage. We have over 40,000 square feet of available space over 4 locations and can accommodate collections of all sizes and mediums with our custom-designed racks for paintings, sculptures, and oddly-shaped three-dimensional works of art. We offer standard and archival wrapping and packing to ensure that pieces are preserved to museum standards, and the storage environment in our climate-controlled warehouses is maintained at 70° F and 55% relative humidity. All of our facilities offer 24-hour climate monitoring.
Dependable Storage Logistics
All of our storage units are managed with safety and security in mind. Each item is inventoried, and we provide real-time information on all artwork in our care. We have management teams on-site at our facilities and maintain a fine art inventory management system to track each individual piece during its stay. Condition reporting, photography, and digital image archiving are available, with the delivery of reports and images to the client, insurer, auction house, or advisor as requested. We also use these images to label the exterior of crates for collections in long-term storage. We provide security for the art in our care through features including 24/7 alarm system monitoring, closed-circuit video surveillance, smoke detection, and fire suppression systems, sensors for motion, and heat and smoke detection.
Insurance and Assurance
We understand the value of each collection we house, and provide federally mandated limited liability coverage, which pays out at 60 cents per pound. We offer supplementary art insurance to our clients for extra peace of mind when storing high-value, one-of-a-kind, original, or highly sentimental artwork. Due to the care, we take in all fine art handling, our claims history is one of the best in the industry, and allows us to offer the best rates to our clients.
For collections insured by a client’s corporate or fine art policy, we can assist with the completion of artwork insurance documentation. This is often required when items are in storage and allows insurers to more effectively evaluate risk. For museums and galleries coordinating loans through multiple lenders, we work to minimize protection costs by independently valuing each transport segment under our care.
